IMO Auto function and low graphical requirements are the two main advantages HSR has over other games.
low requirements mean more people can play, including those with low end PC.
Even if they don't have money to get a decent PC, they likely still have enough to buy daily login and pass.
Auto function allows players to multi-task by putting the game on auto and alt-tab to do something else.
Time efficiency is the name of the game and not everyone likes pressing the same buttons to clear a single calyx stages, especially in a four-niggas-in-a-row
I remember quitting several gacha games that clearly has higher quality compared to HSR purely because farming manually is a pain.
