>By the way, Koromaru and Aigis will be able to be together when humanity becomes extinct because Apathy syndrome doesn't affect animals, so she won't rot alone. She will be happy until Koromaru dies of old age, then she might consider shutting herself down.
This is false. With the fall occuring, the fragments of Nyx's mind in all living creatures will be joined with the physical Nyx - and as part of that the shadow/persona of all living things will be separated from their current hosts. Koromaru (and all dogs, all animals and plants and fungi and any mortal lifeforms) will undergo apathy syndrome, and Aigis (who is powered by plumes of dusk) will likely just cease to function. The Collective Unconsciousness of that universe will cease to exist as well, though it's likely that beings such as the velvet attendants will continue to exist, just be unable to access the failed universe anymore (they're sorta multi-universal so it's harder to say).
And that's before the maybe more important end result of the Earth being physically destroyed from the effects of the Moon (Nyx).
