It's the 2nd one. I had a frank conversation with a recruiter for a defense contractor and while I didn't have a specific qualification they wanted (which is kind of bullshit if I match 90% of the rest of the JD) he basically was saying how I needed to dumb myself down. This is something I am opposed to but it speaks volumes to the competency crisis that looms on the horizon. We've all known we're being artificially shut out
