Scootaloo is a severely neglected latchkey kid who only really goes home to sleep, she's probably broken at least one or two bones without her guardians even knowing.
She also likes to sleepover at Sweetie Belle's or Applebloom's because it gives her some illusion of a normal home life.
Scootaloo also plays video games she's not supposed to: GTA3, Postal 2, SOCOM 2.
