RoA2 might not have Smash numbers but it's THE indie platform fighter right now. 11k peak players on launch, positive reviews, and they specifically wanted Flynn to handle the story. That's a studio outside of SEGA saying "we want this guy's writing." When's the last time a Sonic writer got poached by another studio for a major project?
