That's a good thought. I think it may come down to the balance of what's 'fun'. If transforming to Vamps is a 'punishment' for making mistakes, does that mean it needs to be less 'fun' than Batty form? What if it's more fun?

Well what you missed is I'm not seeing this as a 'make or break' scenario. You get to play forever and you are just put in the cuck form for messing up and then in that form you get your energy back to go to the effective form.
But yeah, in general everything has to be fun. there has to be satisfaction to be found in any part of the gameplay.

I hate AI, it was predictably superficially helpful but contentless. The only thing it said that got me thinking was you could still die in Vamps form. I could do that without the blood energy if the NPCs got enough hits on Vamps or trapped her. Or I could have a line on the orb, so you have a transform line and then full depletion is dead?
