it's actually probably not that bad if you're sticking with the proper Soviet manual-of-arms and reloading with your right hand - which is already holding the magazine, so you just have to press mag release (which I think is that serrated button slightly above the mag) and pull it out
(although it'd probably be a bit better to have that button on the left side, so you can just press it with your right thumb)
