In my chain, the distinct trait of every Jumper is that the Benefactor unfurls the shape of their entire existence into higher dimensions. Not just their flesh and blood-their mana pool, their history, their very concept. It’s similar to what the tech in The Fine Structure does, but instead of being maintained by devices a “chain” of pure potentiality is attached to the Jumper’s existence like a massive symbiotic umbilical cord-compressing individual Jumper incarnations together like a siphonophore made of souls/soul-analogues.

This is actually the larval form of an Archetype, separate from the Supreme Archetype, adapted for independent existence outside of the Lovecraftian cosmos by using an individual entity as it’s basis instead of THE BEING. It’s basically a Benefactor-shaped magatama, but instead of granting greater power /directly/ it fundamentally allows different existences to coexist through a new continuum of timeless symmetry.

The Benefactor also has a “placenta” of timeless symmetry that is what causes the normative halting of time between realities; instead of freezing realities it’s more like it creates a barrier of recursively static time for Jumpers. Though as many exceptions show, it’s not completely impermeable.
