Another war has broken out on the African continent--South Africa has fallen into civil war, with five competing factions. In recent years, South Africa has aligned with Russia and China by joining BRICS, so the civil war is not necessarily in their favor unlike so many other wars that have occurred in recent years.
First, the Cape Emergency Government, led by General Charles Laubscher of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF). West political operatives secretly hope that the military under General Laubscher takes command, as he has a demonstrated pro-Western stance, which is a shrinking position in modern day South Africa.
Second, the Republic of South Africa, led by Cyril Ramaphosa of the ANC. As the head of ANC, Ramaphosa controls the forces of the internationally-backed Republic of South Africa. He also happens to be the owner of McDonald's South Africa.
Third, the Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging, led by Steyn von Ronge. The AWB is an Afrikaner nationalist, white supremacist, and neo-Nazi political party in South Africa founded in 1973. Its previous leader, Terre'Blanche, was murdered by an employee on his farm.
Fourth, the Economic Freedom Fighters, led by Julius Malema. The EFF is a communist political party known for the red berets and military-style outfits worn by its members
Fifth, the Zulu Kingdom, led by Misuzulu Zulu. Zulu recently was appointed as king of the Zulu nation in May 2021. Misuzulu is the second-son of former King Goodwill Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu. Now the Zulu Kingdom makes a play for independence from South Africa.
