Pic related, he compared what I had (that 30$ second hand card with sub-4$ DAC codec chip... MANUFACTURED ALL THE WAY BACK IN 2007) vs modern "premium audio" 4 digit Realtek codecs.
Notice the intermodulation, total harmonic distortion and scuffed not neutral frequency response... yeah that's bad, even tho he used loopback method which makes the result numbers worse for 30$ card (ADC converter aka input chip is lower class than it's DAC output chip, while Realtek uses just one same one chip for both).
