He didn't stick with his premise. Shinobi is a better strong but socially awkward MC. I wouldn't hate Kiyoshi this much if it were not for his dumb decision to introduce exam arc, training arc and this long, boring black parade arc. It's shit. I can't wait it to end already.

Meanwhile Shinobi is where the SOVL at. It can switch between action and comfy SoL manga and still feels right.
