Agreed, but it should be noted that he can fight blinded, even mantling the blind Shu with MT, and since he knows how to handle the disorientation of throwing space warping on it that means it's not a good avenue of attack as it'd be on someone unused to Anryu Tenha at least.
Even the aura absorbtion of matouki doesn't work on Ken later so that's probably why he didn't need MT for the second fight (unlike in pic rel) to go toe to toe with Kaioh
