There are some good points, at the very least it's a reasonable review.
I'm not expecting Precure to handle everything perfectly, due to strong toy selling business constraints for example. But that Purirun amnesia subplot was certainly garbage, Meroron remains an awful 1D character (neetama neetama! Uta nekodorobou!) and the idol theme is not used to its full potential.
Those finisher attacks that start with a very short idol performance are a waste of good music. Insultingly bad was the re-use of ED1 for the group attack as they mentioned, holy mother of laziness. You get to hear and watch a superior version at the end of an episode anyway, so what was the point except saving resources on the music production side?
