Beanmouth looked a lot better around that time IMO, look at season 1 of Star Vs. for example, characters are naturally expressive and cartoony, but as the seasons passed the animation became more stiff like the beanmouth shows of the late 2010s-onward. Season one of Gumball also looked naturally expressive, the newer seasons expressions feel like forced memes, which is funny cause that’s what people claim modern SB is doing, yet apparently Gumballs tryhard meme faces are fine.

If beanmouth shows today looked the way they did in the early 2010s I wouldn’t really hate it as much.
