She messaged me today and said that her girlfriends talked to her and said that ''if you two were really interested in meeting each other, you would have gone to see each other sick'', so she's not interested in going anymore.

Is it just me or is this absolutely retarded. She argued that since we both were going to work at time, it reflected that neither of us was particularly interested. Personally this is one of the dumbest things I've ever heard and I'm pretty offended.
