people were posting this chart a lot and I feel like it so perfectly captures my thoughts on the Dawntrail MSQ. Not that Wuk has so much dialogue, but that Sphene, who's not there until around the 2/3rds mark, has almost as much. At a time when the story could be getting more personal, drawing inwards to Wuk Lamat's sense of self and purpose, it instead blows out to this huge world-shaking threat, uses her character to develop an out of nowhere parallel, and then has them develop this weird as fuck bond (why is Wuk Lamat letting a political enemy call her by a pet name? Imagine if Varus started calling Merlwyb Mer-Mer, it's offputting) so they can rush us towards a Power of Friendship ending.
