immediately bring in sentient/sapient A.I., whales, anthropomorphic characters, spirits, demons, angels, undead like vampires as witnesses and then simply state that the legal argument of being a "person" being tied to ONLY being a human is not only bigoted but would literally just have all the non-humans have a reason to team up on the humans and utterly destroy or subjugate the humans
