I think originally Neuro is based off one of the open-sourced released GPT models that he's been updating and retraining which is why her responses are so different compared to other LLMs. Vedal doesn't have to train Neuro to be corporate kosher and "helpful", rather she's trained to be funny and entertaining, so her responses are going to be fundamentally different.

I know for a fact that Vedal hosts Neuro and Evil locally since he recently talked about getting an entire new PC with 128GB of RAM and a 4090 just for them so they're very likely not based on some top secret proprietary model. Neuro seems pretty smart after her newest upgrades but I don't think she's Claude 4 or o3 level though, it seems pretty feasible that Vedal and his small team of programmers could make something like her if they already had background in AI development and like a million dollars from Twitch subs. heart
