As long as the DPRK supports Russia the more Russia destroys itself. China and the DPRK both want to see Russia ruined, they are both supporting Russia so it self destructs.
When the war is over the DPRK will have taken enough resources and technology from Russia to become a global power and will have enough nukes to deter the PRC.
Since the DPRK has already proven itself to be a global level weapons supplier, the backstab inherent in a USA/DPRK alliance becomes clear.
