Does anyone have any experience with the Crimson Trace thingamabob? I remember seeing a Hoplophile video on it years ago, and he said it's good to go, but I don't know.

I've never bought a LAM before, and don't want to go straight for a DBAL A3 for $1,700, just in case I don't like using a LAM after trying it out. Would this be a good buy to see if I like it enough to get a real HP one?

The only negative reviews I see are saying that the remote switch sucks, which is whatever. I can just get an aftermarket one.
