Could have been a clean victory for the BA+IH but I fucked my Deep Strike assault. It was funny because I saw one of the IW's scatter die on the board and almost picked it up to use to scatter my assault marines, but then I realized my mistake and after fishing around in my dice bag for my own scatter I said something like "YOUR duplicitous, debased scatter die, MY noble, true-rolling scatter die." I then proceeded to scatter 8" into an IW unit, rerolled thanks to LoS from a nuncio-vox, and got the same direction but this time it was 11" so there was really no doubt I had scattered into the IW unit. Of course the IW put the first unit right in front of his 2 Contemptors and Iron Circle. I did dumbass 2E Deep Strike shennanigans to wrap them around and placed the second unit still gunning to sweep up his tactical squads and autocannon HSS, but there was no getting away from the Contemptors who eventually cleaned up the assault marines and mulched my poor campaign custom character (who thankfully survived rolling on the casualty table). The big hammer IW Praetor also smushed the IH's campaign character, who also survived.
Game ended with a loyalist victory.
