I just found out I have a blown headgasket and the cam carriers are leaking lots of oil.
The dealership wants $6000 to fix this.
Is this repair worth it, or should I call it quits? $6000 is my entire budget if I go get a loan. I dont have any more money besides that to buy anything new. Do I spend the money to fix this car and try and ride it out to 200000 miles before I sell it for good, or do I give up and buy a beater to ride around in until I save up the 10000 grand to buy an acceptable used car?
