There are 10,000 other settings that do "humans and dwarves doing first edition D&D things" better than Warcraft does. It's something I've seen a million times already, so it doesn't grab my attention at all. If I want to do the humans and dwarves walking around castles and forests thing, I can play a ton of other video games or table-top roleplaying games that specialize in that. I don't often have the ability to play as a zombie, minotaur, or green caveman.
They look cool, too.
