I'm afraid I've gotten too attached to my starting character.
I dust all my event purples for scrolls. I basically only play ranked so that I can get dust. I basically don't care about it at all because there's no real stakes in it. But I've played and studied so much that I'm on pace to celestial according to my last 100.
The main problem is that most of the newer characters talk too much. They give an essay or sound sad when you kyuushu kyuuhai, or they borderline insult you for being noten.
I have 2 main candidates for faith when I get 150 which isn't terribly far off at this point, but both of them have slight downsides like that in their voice lines. Meanwhile the starting character doesn't do anything like that because she just says her lines like she's supposed to and that's it.
I really don't want to play a starting character forever though.

I'm pretty sure I've been stuck in the same 700-point rank range for the last 100 games... It's so hard to break out of the luck cycle.
