This isn't the era of Wind Waker anymore. Witcher 3 is 10 years old and still looks better than a ton of more modern games, even without the next gen patch.
We've reached the point of diminishing returns with graphics a long time ago.
You can endlessly add more and more details but unless your eye is glued to the screen you won't notice it in normal gameplay.
