Mid-late Psikyo games. They're a mix between dadshit and danmaku, while still being pretty hard to beat. Since you got that far on Galuda2, I don't think you would have too much problems with these games. The shmups I recommend are Strikers 1945 II, Gunbird 1 & 2, Sengoku Aces and Dragon Blaze. I'm pretty sure there's a shmup rompack that gets reposted on /v/ threads
