Quick Mage: the Ascension question. How quickly would consensus shifting change the limits of what you can do without Paradox? Say you’re in the MCU when the Avengers fight an alien invasion over NYC and a god is flying around and calling lightning down onto skyscrapers to smite armies. Does the severity Paradox slowly fade over the next couple days or weeks as the media disseminates proof of this throughout the world and people digest and grow to accept the supernatural? Or does it take longer than that? And it doesn’t have to be technically magic that people believe is possible, right? Say you go to Worm. People scoff at the idea of magic, but if you walk around will working and changing reality, people are just going to assume you’re a powerful Parahuman and that won’t trigger paradox, right?
