How were they supposed to know she was crazy? She approached them, said she knew something about what they wanted to know, and invited them to her home to avoid the poison air. Literally the only hint that she was 'crazy' before she went off the rails is the pivot to talk about love, which for all they know could just be her being lonely/eccentric.
And Enjin DID try to play along while everyone else was confused. He literally went to treat it like how they deal with the Info Broker. He didn't like it, but he basically said

And Amo immediately began yelling at them because they weren't here for 'her.' How in any way were they supposed to know she would react like that?
I'll given Enjin afterwards made things worse, but Amo was still the one that escalated to violence first even though the group showed no ill intent and were going to talk about what she wanted. They just dared not to immediately fawn over her which is what she actually wanted out of them.
