Unironically yes. Have been for the past couple years.
It's something you can do countless number of times and see continual imprvement.
My lower back, hips, and quads have always been tight. Doing shiko but also concentrating on being comfortable holding a deep squat has seriously increased my flexibility and basically cured lower back pain from muscle tightness.
I need to work on getting my stance wider, and increasing the angle of my lifted leg in shiko.
