I feel like Dreamworks unironically did the most woke, straight-forward and realistic approach to certain things related to mental health, society, and identity. The panic attack scenes and representation of trauma and death in Puss In Boots: The Last Wish was just fucking sublime. And the hardcore representation of how the cycle of life works in reality in The Wild Robot is amazing too. Animals must kill eachother to survive. Sometimes accidents happen. Sometimes we're stuck with people we don't want to deal with, but we gotta support eachother in moments of tragedy or extreme pressure or we won't make it. Woke can be good if done correctly, and those two movies made my inner child heal a bit.
Also the Lilo and Stitch remake fucking SUCKS, fuck you Nani for abandoning Lilo and studying MARINE BIOLOGY in CALIFORNIA when YOU'RE IN FUCKING HAWAII fOR FUCk'S SAKE
