I don't think that kind of food sex is really a "kinky" thing. It's just something fun, like "spankings" that don't hurt or dress-up play. The people who like that image aren't sexually interested in the food, but the implied sex. The food is an excuse and could be replaced with any other stock scenario.
But I agree that it's weird that people with an actual sexual interest in food are so rare. Maybe because if you have an oral fixation you just fixate on oral?
