The mentality just isn't the same. One of the main appeals of gachaslop is hot, scantily-clad girls and hot heterosexual boys the lonely fujoshi can thirst over, all drawn in a colorful, exaggerated anime style with various real cultures mixed and mashed together. Western companies would be eaten alive if they tried producing something like that.
