Calcazar, while based, was poorly integrated into the RT plot.
Him taking over the plot in the second half led to Kunrad and the other chaoticians being totally sidelined, and we missed out on what could have been a story of discovering your family was full of heretics at the top level, and redeeming your name, while contending with other traders.
Working for Calcazar, and gradually uncovering his scheme, would have worked better in a Dark Heresy game.
