You're really breaking your back to make the class seem like a bad pick for skills, when it observably isn't. HP+5, Sol are evergreen skills - not just earlygame filler, or something to be avoided. Sure, I agree there's an even stronger argument for Merc - but not because of access to the fucking gay ass, 8-mt, range-locked Yato; rather because Strong Riposte is a good sidegrade to HP +5.
Increasingly I'm thinking Fighter is in fact a GOOD talent for Revelation, and this anon was on to something. Meanwhile Samurai, for example, is a total meme pick that misunderstands the context in which that talent is useful.
