people that adopt generative ai at first may be effective because they understand their problem well enough to critically evaluate the output of an ai.
however, fast forward, people aren't going to be learning those basic skills, and become dumber overall
it's like the cgi revolution. no one does traditional animation anymore because "it's too expensive" (rolls eyes at cgi slop with 250M$ budgets). but the state of animation is at a nadir, no one can animate for shit anymore, and it's because these amazing tools these amazing and intelligent artists sweat blood to develop to solve the problems they were inventing for themselves are bequeathed to people that never went through the training and experiences necessary to warrant those tools in the first place.
