I literally never had a problem parrying. I parried throughout the entire game consistently. Counter attacks were very satisfying. I got the enhanced abilities to increase my parry window and cause burning and other status effects from the parries as well which was very cool. I wish more RPG games had customizable effects on parry like that. Parry in the game functioned very, very responsively! You literally might be retarded....I was parrying crowds of Darkspawn literally nonstop with both shield and hammer
