The newest war movie I enjoyed was Unkown soldier because it was filmed in Finland and used actuall explosives etc. instead of CGI.
My issue with CGI in war-movies is that the actors just dont react to shit properly. If you have dirt fall on you because shit is exploding next to you the reaction is genuine etc. Not some dude going "Okay, pretend this green cube next to the green cube is a tank"
Kinda how a lot of Media, inclusive Video Games is shit because it isnt made by people who have actuall life-experience nowadays just faggots whos entire experience is consuming media and then aping it.
