I hate it. I believe that most of them didn't even watch it or even intended to, they just take it as a chance to shitpost. After the raging anti-IDW boomers fucked off from /co/ it was pretty chill for a few years until the anti-tranny brigade became louder again and now you cannot even talk about Grindcore without triggering someone because one of the 50 comic series from a 10 year long running continuity contains five tranny panels. Yeah, it was unnecessary, but every series has a bunch of scenes I am not happy with. I just ignore it and enjoy the rest. It's not like Anode was the MC.

Also as much as I love some of Furman's shit, especially his recent Astrobots series (and Atlas is fucking hot, basically Deadlock as political leader), it's annoying how everyone praises his IDW work as if it was a mantra to hail him as the modern Shakespeare and hate on everything else because he's is allegedly anti-woke or something (bet none of them have read his new series despite allegedly being a fan of him).
