Nothing at all, it just fucking sucks. Nemleian tales are all about characters fulfilling ideals, even in the mist of tragedies and sadness. It doesn't fit at all because everything they desire comes from pure love, and what you do in love is everlasting. That doomer cope can be true for some, but it's such a bottom of the barrel level of truth that it may be as well be a lie at this point.
