Oh, absolutely. I was noting a higher level of spunk and defiance seeming likely overall compared to previous game rosters, just from a surface-level look. Miyori’s definitely the one exception, but Akina is described as loyal and will likely be headstrong, and the girls with martial arts training will have a level of self-discipline and self-confidence that would mean there’d be a generally higher level of resistance, especially in the name of protecting another character which the villains could take advantage of.
> the villains seem to be quite competent
Well, Guilty can always use the “the protagonists managing to hold out and not fall to sexual corruption until rescue” route. If we want to add nuance, it could be that people they know ask the police to investigate and they invest a lot of resources if they’ve been pursuing this fight ring for a while. The heroines being involved with them and not submitting as sex slaves end up getting the fight ring caught when their absence or submission would have allowed them to get away. Since one of the antagonists is the actual head of the fight ring, he’s likely going to bend and break his own rules for his own benefit, so that outcome seems the most likely.
But an interesting alternative could be that the audience's approval carries a popular momentum that the hosts can’t just ignore, so if sexual corruption was how the hosts intended to make the girls lose, but they continue to fight, outlasting/defeating their opponents and endearing themselves to the audience no matter what the hosts try, then they could be forced to let them go in the end, at which point in come the police. I doubt the hosts could say “they’ll report us to the police for holding us against their will if they leave” because that might cause distaste in an audience who might have been told the girls were all there “voluntarily”.
