It's frankly impressive how much of the oppressive, horrible atmosphere of this place goes away once all the garbage, filth and grime is removed.
combined with the soothing presence of the emotional support crowbar(tm) this place feels downright cozy. I'm not even that terrified of the aliens anymore.

It also doesn't help that I have had barely anything happen other than 2 scary fucking events on day ONE. It's currently day 14 and the most weird shit I had happen was that I saw the arrow ships twice now, once in the sky and once on the ground (got two arrow ship minis off of that). Should I turn on the funny setting? It says it's not reccomended on first playthroughs and I'm generally weak to horror but I'm starting to feel TOO comfortable.
