Yeah pretty much I'm a war/contemporary history autist mostly WW2 mostly just reading wikipedia articles which leads to another which leads to another which leads to another which leads to another same with youtube I also read quite a few books on it when I'm bored and study it in depth when something grabs my interest. The modern world really is a paradise for an intellectually hungry autodidact like me...a never-ending all-you-can eat buffet of endless knowledge...perfect for an intellectually starving mind like me. Delicious. I want more. Also believe it or not I learned a shit ton just from shitposting on 4chan mostly /pol/ and /his/ and /lit/ if you are intellectually hungry and expose yourself then you will passively gain a lot of knowledge...though for me it really happened very naturally without effort so idk maybe I'm special.

Mostly for fun I mean it wasn't even intentionally...but the future is built upon the past anon. Patterns repeat. History repeats. Again and again and again and again. Without getting too philosophical I will say yes for example I was able to predict the prevalence of FPV drones in Ukraine and am able to somewhat accurately predict what might happen in the next 50 years like for example Taiwan is probably fucked but anyways idk I'm not a prophet the future can be unpredictable but yeah it is useful...the present and future is built upon the past, and precognition is the most useful of all human skills.
