Fellow rat, I use stick instead but you are correct, the trick is to properly end inputs in 3.
I also normally do 6323 or 6236 and never was problem before but if your character has both 623 and 236236 inputs in the same button the super comes out.
Its not a thing exclusive to Rising so its a good thing to practice.
