Understandable. I usually prefer Japanese media in its original language too, but I've been used to localized Pokémon since forever, so this franchise is an exception. However, the original names of human characters are usually the best, that's for sure. Sometimes I'll accidentally refer to Giovanni as Sakaki.

That's definitely one of the perks of being a weeb. I wouldn't like to call my husbando ____-sama since I want an equal relationship with him, but I'd use Matsubusa-kun in a teasing (but affectionate) manner every now and then.
Another thing that enhances yume fantasies is the way your husbando would address you in Japanese. For example, Maxie calls the player "kimi", which has a certain connotation coming from someone like him. But in my fantasies, that "kimi" gets more affectionate the closer we become, lol
