I find most Onsen scenes in Manga boring and stale these days, not because I am a prude but they tend to devolve into

and it always ends with either party or both feeling upset and/or angry
To me that just creates one more awkward moment that can only serve to create distance, no one grows from it, it doesn't help the relation, or the plot.
You want to give me fanservice? Give it to me in a way that pushes the characters CLOSER and make it steem from their desire for skinship, because they feel COMFORTABLE with each other not in a way that one character has to steal a peek because they a pervert or because the girl is a prude who can't touch the guy's hand without stuttering or spazzing out.
