this is what i settled on in my idea, just with wormhole beacons to know when and where to arrive once in same-spacetime. normal travel still takes a while and there is safezones and schedules around the beacons, so it isnt as fluid of a travel system. the tech is still young. /blog
on another note, FTL sounds awfully unpredictable and dangerous, considering all the variables of stuff you could hit or just ships in your path.
