Don't have many pants to test with, but I get some not completely egregious clipping with these jeans I had around. Would be a simple enough brush job in Outfit Studio.

I figure that if the pants model is close enough to the skin, it might work out of the box. The robe/dress (Caenarvon's Magecore) is pretty skin-tight overall, but the curtain is SMP physics-enabled and probably respects collisions with other models as a result.
