i think it sort of became a recent meme to say its actually bad or overrated.

which is absurd of course. It's an all time GOAT, which's most glaring fault is to be so undeniably good that eventually terminally ill contrarians would pick it to try and find microscopic flaws in order to make content for their dying youtube channels. It goes nowhere as its one of those genuinely incredible games that is just too easy to enjoy.
