Officially, she doesn’t exist. Valerie was scrubbed from records before she ever crossed the quarantine perimeter. A covert Cauldron asset, embedded with a quiet directive: disrupt the balance.

Inside the zone, things had gone still. Not safe, never safe, but predictable. Warlords ruled sections of the dead city with violent but measured hands, their uneasy truce holding just enough to slow the chaos. But Cauldron wanted chaos. The formation of power blocs wasn’t part of the long game. And at the center of that fragile order there's a blindspot, possibly the true power behind the zone’s equilibrium. There's rumors about how the most influential villains in the zone have met said blindspot.

Valerie’s mission is to find it and destabilize everything around it. The best way to do that? Become a name. A warlord herself. Gain influence, shake the tree, and see what falls out.

She’s good at her job. Focused. Cold when she needs to be. But also inexperienced , so there's a small, unwelcome thought gnawing at her mind, doubts regarding her mission as an agent of disruption. Even if she understands it's for the greater good, going against peace doesn't sit completely right with her.

Also, while her power is indeed strong, she's easily plagued by debilitating thinker headaches if she uses it too much, something that could prove fatal in the zone.

Halfway through that writefag. Thanks to that anon for the hypothesis suggestion.
