Have not been to Carbone, but I live on the East Coast and am constantly eating at good Italian restaurants. Caramella holds its own. Classic dishes (spicy rigatoni, chicken parm, steaks) done very well. Staff is friendly, too. Pic rel is the cheesy garlic bread on the menu.
